- Sydney is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and Traditional Thai Massage Practitioner.
- Holds RMT licenses with NHPC in Alberta and CMTBC in BC.
- Completed a 150-hour certificate at the Thai Massage School of Thailand in Chiang Mai in 2015.
- Graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 2200H program in Victoria in 2017.
- Has over 500 hours of yoga teacher training from India, Thailand, and Yoga Outreach.
- Currently studying Chinese 5 Element Acupressure for a comprehensive understanding of body, mind, and spirit.
- Plans to attend an Acupuncture program in Calgary in Fall 2024 to expand her knowledge in Traditional Chinese Medicine and herbal medicine.
Services
Registered Massage Therapy in Calgary is the assessment and planned treatment of soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, tendons) and joints of the body. It provides relief and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain. Therapists apply soft tissue manipulation and some joint mobilization techniques to assist the body’s efforts to heal and relieve pain. Forms of treatment include; deep tissue, Swedish relaxation, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, chinese acupressure, trigger point therapy, hot stone massage, myofascial cupping and traditional Thai massage techniques.
